★★★★★“I booked a stay at Potato Boutique Hostel in Little India, Singapore through Agoda. I have been using Agoda for more than 10 years and this is the first time I have encountered such a problem. Upon arrival, the hostel refused to let me check in because the name on my ID did not exactly match my Agoda display name. I immediately showed my booking confirmation email, Agoda app, and even updated my Agoda display name to match my ID. Despite providing clear proof that I was the legitimate booking holder, the hostel still refused to accept it. What disappointed me even more was the service attitude. The staff were unhelpful, unreasonable, arrogant, and rude throughout the process. There was little effort to understand the situation or assist in finding a solution. Based on the hostel's high review scores, I expected a much more professional and customer-friendly experience. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I hope management reviews this policy and improves staff training. Future guests should be aware that even with a valid Agoda booking confirmation, they may face check-in issues if their Agoda display name differs from their ID. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 x 100 Rating: ★☆☆☆☆”
★★★★★“I had a very bad experience in my life with this hostel thay are keep the people like animals. Like on single bed they keep 2 person and fir double bed they keep 3 person and take 450 SDG . And there is no any proper place to keep your clothes and when you inform to staff so they said contract the Owner if he will say they will do. Even people are suffering with the bad burgs. Before booking they didn't inform anything once you pay the money and deposit after that they will inform you . For my person choice I will never recommend this hostel for any one to stay.”
